The Strategy Analyst/Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the organization’s growth, competitive position, and long-term success. This role involves analyzing business performance, evaluating market trends, designing strategic initiatives, and supporting leadership in critical decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, business-savvy, data-driven, and capable of converting insights into strategic recommendations that guide organizational direction.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Analysis

  1. Conduct in-depth research, industry benchmarking, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and trends impacting the organization.
  2. Analyze business performance through financial modeling, forecasting, and KPI tracking to support strategic planning.
  3. Gather insights from data sources including market studies, customer behavior, industry reports, and internal performance metrics.
  4. Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, products, and expansion initiatives.

Strategy Development

  1. Support leadership in developing long-term strategic plans, business roadmaps, and annual operating plans.
  2. Align organizational objectives with actionable strategies, creating clear implementation frameworks.
  3. Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and ROI assessments for proposed initiatives.

Project & Initiative Management

  1. Lead or support strategic initiatives, from conception through execution and monitoring.
  2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, marketing, HR, tech, etc.) to ensure alignment and progress.
  3. Track project milestones, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to keep initiatives on schedule.

Executive Support & Reporting

  1. Prepare executive-level presentations, strategic proposals, dashboards, and performance reports.
  2. Communicate complex insights in clear, compelling formats for leadership and stakeholders.
  3. Facilitate strategic workshops, review meetings, and planning sessions.

Operational & Organizational Improvement

  1. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend data-backed improvements.
  2. Support change management initiatives within the organization.
  3. Analyze customer feedback, operational data, and organizational capabilities to enhance performance.

Risk & Performance Analysis

  1. Evaluate business risks, policy impacts, and market shifts to guide strategic decisions.
  2. Ensure the organization maintains agility in response to market and industry changes.

 

Required Skills & Competencies

Analytical & Technical Skills

  1. Strong analytical thinking with ability to interpret large datasets and generate insights.
  2. Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
  3. Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and performance measurement.
  4. Ability to convert data into narratives that support decision-making.

Strategic & Business Understanding

  1. Strong business acumen with understanding of industry trends, market forces, customer behavior, and financial principles.
  2. Ability to evaluate business opportunities and translate insights into strategies.

Communication & Presentation

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Strong presentation skills to craft and deliver executive-level reports, charts, and slides.

Project Management

  1. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  2. Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Problem-Solving & Decision-Making

  1. Ability to identify root causes, develop solutions, and recommend actionable decisions.
  2. Creative thinking to propose innovative approaches to business challenges.

 

Qualifications

  1. Education
  2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Strategy, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  3. MBA or specialized certification in strategy/analytics is an added advantage.

Experience

  1. 8+ years of experience managing strategic initiatives, projects, or business transformation programs.
  2. Experience in consulting firms, corporate strategy departments, market research, data analytics, or business operations.
  3. Experience managing cross-functional projects or leading strategic initiatives.

 

Salary

120,000 - 140,000 INR
