The Operations Analyst Manager is responsible for optimizing organizational processes, improving productivity, and driving data-backed operational decisions. This role requires a leader who can analyze complex data, streamline workflows, oversee operational performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the organization.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and capable of turning operational insights into actionable strategies that support long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Strategy & Planning

  1. Develop, evaluate, and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  2. Identify bottlenecks, gaps, and improvement areas across departments, and implement solutions.
  3. Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across teams.
  4. Support leadership in operational planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  1. Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to drive decision-making.
  2. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports with insights, trends, and recommendations.
  3. Use analytical tools to track KPIs, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for optimization.
  4. Present findings to senior management in clear and actionable formats.

Process Optimization & Quality Management

  1. Lead process improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  2. Ensure operations meet quality standards, efficiency targets, and compliance requirements.
  3. Implement automation and digital tools to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  1. Coordinate with finance, HR, administration, logistics, IT, and other teams to streamline operations.
  2. Support key business projects by providing operational insights and data-driven recommendations.
  3. Work closely with technology teams to enhance system performance and resolve operational issues.

Team Leadership & Training

  1. Supervise and mentor the operations analyst team, setting clear performance goals.
  2. Conduct regular training on process updates, data tools, and reporting standards.
  3. Oversee workload distribution and ensure timely delivery of operational outputs.

Risk Management & Compliance

  1. Identify potential risks in operational processes and develop mitigation plans.
  2. Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Support audits and ensure documentation accuracy across operational processes.

Technology & System Support

  1. Work with ERP, CRM, database systems, and operational dashboards.
  2. Suggest upgrades, enhancements, and process automation tools to increase efficiency.
  3. Troubleshoot operational system issues and coordinate resolution.

 

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Analytical Skills

  1. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret large datasets.
  2. Proficiency in MS Excel, dashboards, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
  3. Knowledge of SQL or database systems is an added advantage.
  4. Experience with ERP/CRM software and workflow automation tools.

Operational Expertise

  1. Strong understanding of business processes, supply chain, logistics, administration, or relevant operational areas.
  2. Ability to develop and implement SOPs and process improvement plans.
  3. Familiarity with quality management systems and compliance standards.

Leadership & Communication

  1. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  2. Ability to lead a team, assign responsibilities, and provide constructive feedback.
  3. Strong presentation skills for reporting insights to senior management.

Problem-Solving & Decision-Making

  1. Ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  2. Strong decision-making skills supported by data and insight.
  3. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 4–8 years of experience in operations analysis, business operations, process improvement, or related domains.
  3. Experience in managing a team or leading operational projects.
  4. Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), PMP, or Data Analytics are an added advantage.
  5. Strong portfolio of process improvement, data reporting, or workflow automation projects is preferred.

120,000 - 160,000 INR
