Gen AI Engineer - TL

The Generative AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing AI models that generate creative and intelligent outputs, such as text, images, code, audio or video. The role combines expertise in machine learning, deep learning and large language models (LLMs) to build and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance innovation and business value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and fine-tune LLMs, multimodal models and domain-specific generative solutions.
2. Develop scalable pipelines for data processing, training and inference.
3. Perform model evaluation, benchmarking, optimization and deployment (on cloud/on-prem).
4. Implement advanced prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
5. Integrate AI models with applications, APIs and production systems.
6. Work cross-functionally with product, engineering and data science teams.
7. Maintain documentation, ensure quality and support troubleshooting.

Required Skills

1. Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain or similar frameworks.
2. Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning (LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT).
3. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI deployments.
4. Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma).
5. Familiarity with MLOps, containerization (Docker), APIs and CI/CD processes.
6. Strong understanding of NLP, transformers, embeddings and model evaluation.
