The Finance Analyst Executive will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position involves evaluating financial performance, monitoring budgets, forecasting trends, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of interpreting complex financial information to provide meaningful insights that support organizational growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze financial statements, revenue reports, expenditure patterns, and organizational performance metrics.
  2. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
  3. Monitor budgets, track variances, and highlight discrepancies with recommendations for corrective action.
  4. Conduct financial forecasting, cost analysis, profitability studies, and performance trend evaluations.
  5. Support the finance team in preparing financial models, cash flow statements, and investment analysis reports.
  6. Review and verify invoices, receipts, payment documents, and expense claims.
  7. Support internal audits by preparing required documents, explanations, and reconciliations.
  8. Collaborate with accounting, operations, and administrative teams to ensure smooth financial workflows.
  9. Assist in optimizing financial processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
  10. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation in the accounting system.
  11. Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and support long-term financial planning.
  12. Provide data-driven insights to support leadership in decision-making and financial risk management.
  13. Assist in monitoring vendor payments, outstanding balances, and timelines for financial commitments.
  14. Ensure adherence to regulations, financial standards, and organizational guidelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

  1. Strong understanding of financial analysis, accounting principles, budgeting, and reporting.
  2. Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, data analysis tools) and familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
  3. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly.
  4. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to data integrity.
  5. Strong problem-solving abilities with an ability to identify financial risks and opportunities.
  6. Good communication skills for presenting reports and coordinating with internal teams.
  7. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
  8. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Knowledge of financial compliance, audit support, and document control practices.
  10. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain structured financial records.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Additional certification in Financial Analysis, Accounting, or Excel (e.g., CFA Level 1, FMVA, NCFM, CA Inter) is an advantage.
  3. Experience with ERP systems or financial modeling will be considered an added benefit.
