Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Manager is responsible for leading AI initiatives, driving the design and deployment of AI-driven solutions, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership abilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in machine learning, data science, and AI technologies, along with experience managing AI projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development, implementation, and deployment of AI models and solutions across the organization.
2. Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities where AI can enhance efficiency, decision-making, and innovation.
3. Oversee the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of data to ensure high-quality inputs for AI models.
4. Manage AI and data science teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluation.
5. Evaluate AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to adopt state-of-the-art solutions for organizational needs.
6. Design and monitor AI model training, validation, testing, and optimization processes.
7. Develop AI strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring measurable impact and ROI.
8. Work with IT, software development, and cloud teams to integrate AI models into production systems.
9. Ensure compliance with ethical AI standards, data privacy laws, and regulatory guidelines.
10. Monitor AI performance, track KPIs, and continuously improve model accuracy, scalability, and robustness.
11. Conduct AI research, stay updated with emerging trends, and explore innovative AI applications.
12. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
13. Collaborate with external partners, AI vendors, and research institutions to drive advanced AI solutions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and AI algorithms.
2. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C++, and AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras.
3. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI deployment tools.
4. Solid understanding of data management, big data technologies, SQL, and data warehousing.
5. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills to translate business needs into AI solutions.
6. Experience managing AI/ML teams, projects, and budgets.
7. Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, explainable AI, and regulatory compliance.
8. Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Strategic vision to identify business opportunities and plan AI adoption effectively.
10. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business teams.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
2. 8+ years of professional experience in AI, machine learning, or data science, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
3. Proven track record of deploying AI solutions and managing AI projects end-to-end.
4. Publications, patents, or contributions to AI research is an added advantage.
5. Certifications in AI, machine learning, or data science from recognized institutions are a plus.
